How long does it take to get my domain working?
It will take 24-48 hours after you order your new domain or make the DNS change with your registrar.

What kind of Technical Support do you provide?
We will answer, help, fix any problems related to your web hosting account. We provide technical support for added features and 3rd party software for a fee.

Can I transfer existing domain name to your Hosting servers?
Yes, just be sure to specify that you are requesting a transfer and NOT a new domain. You should keep the service with your current provider while waiting for domain registrar to complete the transfer process. We will provide you with a temporary URL address so you can mirror the site on our server. All email and web pages will still be accessed from your current site. When your domain registrar announces the completion of the transfer there is a 24- 72 hour propagation period where visitors could go to either site. At the end of the 72 hours you should contact your previous host to have them delete the old domain from their records and update their DNS record. 

How do I transfer my domain name to your Hosting without downtime?
To avoid downtime, please follow these procedures:

1) Sign up an account using our online order form and it will be setup within the same business day. We will email you an "Account Setup" letter which will include login so you can upload your files to our server. We will provide a temporary URL to upload your files to our server pending propagation of DNS. 

2) After you're done uploading your files, contact your domain name registrar and have your domain name pointed to our DNS below:

Primary NameServer:

ns1.websitetree.com

Secondary NameServer:

ns2.websitetree.com

3) Now, be patient. It will take about 48-72 hours for your registrar to update their DNS. Once it's updated, your domain name will point to your website that you have with us automatically.

4) After you or we confirm that your website is pointed to our Hosting, go ahead and cancel your account with your previous hosting company.
